Because if the ALF-CIO had their say, every member would be paid 25.00 and hour, would only have to actually work 5 hours a day (with a break every 15 minutes) plus be given a annual pension equal to 1.5 times their working pay. Self-employed don't get this socialist treatment...only the union twits do. It's an alternative reality sucking off other's to advance their own cause.

If you're talking about small business owners, it shouldn't matter. But if you're talking about large conglomorates like GE and Walmart, who employ a large percentage of the work force, then it's very necessary. If they can be legally considered 'persons' then they should be held to a higher legal standard.

Why should it make a difference... are you saying that it's ok to discriminate as long as the person you discriminate against is rich? Isn't that class envy?

But it's not a person. It's a group of people who control a large chunk of the wealth and capital and who have power over the lives of thousands, sometimes millions of people. Should they, in a completely undemocratic fashion, have the power to decide who gets to work and who doesn't?
