I felt some hesitation during his transition into his virtuoso ultra-high and a momentary loss of control. (slippage) That's between 0:32-0:40 sec. Now I'm aware, that he is already a very accomplished singer, as the first 30 seconds eloquently illustrate, but maybe these particular highs are no longer realistic to him? __________________________________________________ | |

It's from Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Requiem," and it was originally sung by Sarah Brightman, and a young boy by the name of Paul Miles-Kingston. What I don't undertstand is, why would he have the boy singing the soprano part, which was written for a woman, and not have him take the treble part, which was specifically written for a little boy??? __________________________________________________ | |

The girl had a thicker voice than Jean-Baptiste did, so she was cast to sing the boy part. In the case of Jean-Baptiste Maunier his God blessed talent gives joy, not only to the French people, but to the rest of Humanity as well.
