Very nice presentation! You can run iPod/radio i assume if you have navi disc in? What if you got navi disc out, if you get off route does it still know how to reroute you? And also can you bypass the dvd thing so you can watch dvds when you are driving and how easy is this?

Yes you can run it with the Navi disc out. If you are running the navi off of memory mode you can go up to I believe 15 miles off the preset route before it request the disc again...but otherwise it changes the route to get you back on course.
The do the bypass, you need to ground the parking brake wire of course...and also, on the harness there is a cellular mute cable. You need to remove that wire, and place it in the pin opening right below it, then you have to ground that wire.

I had a pioneer navigation previously installed so my install wasn't too difficult. But the first time it was installed I had my shop do it.
If you have installed a radio before, and don't mind tapping into your VSS wire, it shouldn't be that bad of a job.
