AWillowedRose12 ::: Favorites 2008-01-05 14:18:09 Good job!! I've been a vegetarian for about 10 years, since I found out what meat really was. It's hard, you have to read the backs of EVERYTHING. Gotta watch out for gelatin as well! __________________________________________________
AOEGuy ::: Favorites 2007-12-21 04:24:14 Good, I'm a "vegetarian" now, and I plan to keep it that way. __________________________________________________

SpamAnn ::: Favorites 2007-11-12 07:23:56 I am a vegan for some weeks and vegetarian for some years. And I am healthier then before :) __________________________________________________
Aequitasregno ::: Favorites 2007-11-01 18:43:38 i've been for over 4 months, never been healthier.. __________________________________________________
sylvanol ::: Favorites 2007-10-23 19:48:51 Read the book "Diet For A New America" if you need any inspiration. The main problem with going Vegan cold turkey (pun intended) is the phase you go through as you get a lot of complex carbs in your gut, and you don't have the right bacteria to take care of them. It causes A LOT of gas. It passes (pun also intended), but it can be a trifle embarrassing. If you are worried about protein, think beans or tofu. Your library should have lots of cookbooks. One I liked was "The Single Vegan". __________________________________________________
gothnsincity ::: Favorites 2007-10-19 13:03:06 My favorite vegan cookbook is Vegan with a vengence. Just head to the library and there are plenty of good vegetarian and vegan cookbooks there. __________________________________________________
dominicanville ::: Favorites 2007-10-17 21:31:30 I went Vegan in a matter of minutes after I decided to go that route...cold turkey. It's not hard if you understand why you are doing it, and you aren't going into it like it's some kind of fad diet. Going on one month today, and I'm not looking back. Best decision that I've made thus far in my young life. Good luck AOEGuy. P.S. B12, Iodine. __________________________________________________
Lunerrrrs ::: Favorites 2007-10-16 21:45:37 are you insane!?!! diving head first into a vegan life style is not a good thing hun. Atleast just go vegetarian for a while? be sure to take daily vitamins and drink lots of water. don't crash! __________________________________________________

squitmaa ::: Favorites 2007-10-15 12:50:06 Looking forward to seeing how it goes. I have never gone vegan, but I know a few who have. A 4 cleanse before might help shock you into the transition. The master cleanse is a popular one. __________________________________________________ |
