Description: Original Poem by Katie Original Music by Katie Reading by dan'l Christmas Cheer The Christmas season is upon us Christmas cheer is here But something goes unseen Something hides behind the jubilee It's a lost loved one A broken heart A let down child Looking for the magic of Santa In a mom holding so little hope It's a missing pet A jilted love A disappointed man Looking for the love of anyone In a drink holding only pain Christmas time is a joyus one Christmas bliss has come But it brings back memories Of happy years, when fam'lies stayed whole Then one day Over two thousand years ago A baby boy was born Three and thirty years later He died up on a cross Then he rose again! He said, "I love you I forgive you Let me in Tell me what you're going through You're beautiful I want your love Let me in Show me what you're heart is telling you" Now the Christmas season heals us Christmas brings Gods love But something waits for us Something makes us brightly smile It's a new best friend A mended life A joyfilled mom Who's found the love of Christ Through a child holding so much hope It's a newfound joy A cured pain An encouraged man Who's found true love In the only genuine God The Christmas season is upon us Christmas cheer is here But one is disregarded One is over-looked, under our nose It's Jesus Christ My savior The only Son of the only God The reason for the season (YouTube needs a Poetry Category!) |
