hoppuss44 ::: Favorites my old science teacher was on this flight.... 07-11-04 09:25:28 __________________________________________________
hoppuss44 ::: Favorites yeh its all very well saying that the alledged strip of metal came from another aircraft but one, has joe public seen this piece of metal? no, two, has an aircraft been found or reported as having this peice of metal lost? no 07-11-04 09:24:02 __________________________________________________
TheRedAngelz ::: Favorites It was a piece from a Continental Airlines DC-10-30 thrust reverser. Go to wikipedia and search either: Air France Flight 4590 OR Continental Airlines and then click on 'Incidents and Accidents' and go to the bottom of that list. Research things before you decide to try and look smart. 07-10-01 23:44:44 __________________________________________________
wongah1 ::: Favorites No aircraft was found to be deficient of any metal strip and no carrier has ever been prosecuted. Do you really think that French pride would allow their national carrier to held to blame? Real witnesses were not called and indeed, they were silenced. Air France technicians caused the accident! 07-08-26 03:54:29 __________________________________________________
wongah1 ::: Favorites Only the French investigations proved that and they have proven to be unreliable. Take for example the TU144 crash at Paris, the report has only a fleeting aquaintance with the truth! 07-08-26 02:32:56 __________________________________________________
wongah1 ::: Favorites BA made consistent profit from the aircraft, Air France always made a loss. If you speak to ANY senior BA Concorde pilot, he will concurr with my statement of events. When Virgin asked the Design Authority for flight approval, they declined. Airbus were told by Air France that if they re cerified the aircraft, then they, Air France would buy Boeing! Dont hate just stating what really happened. 07-08-26 02:31:51 __________________________________________________
gauchero ::: Favorites BA and Air France worked together to build and maintain the Concorde. Anyways what the hell have you got against Air France or the French! 07-08-25 18:04:27 __________________________________________________
gauchero ::: Favorites The investigations after the crash proved that it was a metal strip from the previous plane on the runway. Investigate before posting stupid comments. The answer to the main question above is that it was to expensive to maintain and keep going. Not because of the accidents. 07-08-25 18:00:00 __________________________________________________
wongah1 ::: Favorites Wrong! Air Farnce technicians did not put the wheel spacers back onn the port undercart. This caused a massive wheel wobble which caused the aircraft to drag off the runway and break the runway lights, the galss of which went through the fuel tank and caused the fire. The pilot was stupid beyond belief and people died. The fact that they never ever found any aircraft which an engine ring missing is fact. CONSPIRACY! 07-08-24 13:54:59 __________________________________________________
superbertie ::: Favorites A metal strip from a shaby Continental DC10 (maintenance!!!) did puncture the left wing tank of the concorde. That is a fact. Maintenance on Concorde was perfect. Full stop. Shut up now. 07-08-24 13:49:26 __________________________________________________ |
