At this point, a woman and a monk have been shot and killed by security forces in Rangoon. Three other monks have been hospitalized after being severely beaten by riot police at the Shwedagon pagoda. In the past they have infiltrated protestors, and used these people to cause violence so that they can blame it on the monks.
