mysteriousbg ::: Favorites Thanks for this collection! It's interesting to see the roots(or at least part of) of today's cinema. I think most people from the audience back in the end of 19th century were like "WOW" about the reversed play sequence at the end. 07-09-18 18:49:25 __________________________________________________

JFVerissimo ::: Favorites The early history of motion pictures in the United States and Europe is marked by battles over patents of cameras. In 1886 Le Prince was granted an American dual-patent on a 16-lens device that combined a motion picture camera with a projector. A patent for a single-lens type (MkI) was refused in America because of an interfering patent, but a few years later the same patent was not opposed when the American Edison applied for one! 07-07-06 12:10:50 __________________________________________________
JFVerissimo ::: Favorites I agree with Maddman93(please read his post). The Louis Le Prince is a first man to make cinema. He was never able to perform a planned public demonstration in the United States because he mysteriously vanished from a train in 1890. His body and luggage were never found, but, over a century later, a police archive was found to contain a photograph of a drowned man who could be him.(text of wikipedia) Thing about this... 07-07-06 11:58:24 __________________________________________________
