Description:

I haven't used a clip from the Daily Show or any Viacom material in my videos for almost six months, but, last week, when Matt Groening, creator of "The Simpsons," appeared on the Daily Show, he revealed information of such public interest about how Fox News assesses its own viewers, I had to make this video. The Pew Research Center survey of public knowledge of current affairs to which I refer in my video is available at: http://people-press.org/reports/display.php3?ReportID=319 Also, the Daily Show interview with Matt Groening from which I fairly used a short clip in my video is available in full on the Comedy Central website at: http://www.comedycentral.com/motherload/index.jhtml?ml_video=90145 Finally, more information about the March 2003 episode of "The Simpsons," titled "Mr. Spritz Goes to Washington," from which I fairly used a short clip in my video is available at: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0701185/

"don't act like you know me man." It seems you could be held out as a evidence by those on the who could point to you as a case of formal indoctrination through a liberal education system. Your words seem to suppport their theory...

thats great, you've looked into my soul. the premise i pose is far more pertinent- the republican party today is not what it was 20 years ago. and these days i find myself as someone thats prochoice, pro gay-rights, protect freedom of speech, personal privacy, against the death penalty, separation of church and state, and right to bear arms. so these days, i'm a democrat on all issues except one and the republicans aren't loud on gunrights either nowadays so fuck it, i'm a democrat.

"you've looked into my soul." No, I've merely read your words and gave you a perspective on them. Since that seems to enrage you, maybe its a reason for you to examine them in more detail. You come across as intolerant of those who disagree with your ideology "prochoice, pro gay-rights, against the death penalty, ..." That intolerance is what the right leaning media holds up as examples of what the left is about.

i have taken a stand, and i refuse to have any more of our rights taken away. that makes me intolerant? what are your views, good sir? are gays less than people? are women helpless incubators? is the state allowed to murder?

"what are your views, good sir?" I'm not an ideologue that subscribes to "left" or "right" or even the so called "center" thinking. My views are to understand (in a rational manner) the mechanisms that drives our cultures and influences societies behavior. My view is I choose not to be manipulated by ideologies but rather to challenge them instead...

well said. reading your comments back, in that context, makes perfect sense and i'm obliged to agree with most of your observations. i too question the plausibility of free will when one is an otherwise oblivious component that is shared and affected by multiple overlapping and complicated systems. i feel, however, that we are going around the bush a bit about semantics and practice. i think if you weren't trying to nit pick me you would see that.

It's true. How else could Bill O'Reilly have his own show? There must be a ton of incredibly stupid people out there. There's just no other explanation!
